Does it seem like your students are not able to identify the credibility of information? Do you want to liven up your teaching? Are you looking for something that could help you with media literacy education? Give your students the opportunity to take on a role of journalists who play a crucial role in the fight between truth and manipulation, facts and disinformation. The escape game called Fakescape offers your students an adventure during which they will face manipulative techniques, they will have to verify information and they will have to look for and recognize high quality sources. At the same time, they will practice cooperation and teamwork.
The rules of the game are easy, and students will be provided with the feedback that will sum up the most important information. Moreover, the game takes only lesson!
Unfortunately, there is only Czech and Slovak version at the moment. But we can happily say, that the English version will be available in the Spring. We are working on it right now. If you are interested in testing a beta version on your school, don’t hesitate to contact us. We are planning to develop versions in other language too in the cooperation with schools from other countries. If you are interested in having your language mutation, let us know.
