Why join?
In today’s digital age, cybersecurity is more important than ever. We spend hours online every day, whether on a computer, phone, or social media – and young people are among the most frequent targets of scams and other threats. The Cyber Heroes 2.0 project is here so we can learn together how to protect ourselves and others, and how to teach these crucial topics in a fun and engaging way.
What is the project about?
- Cybersecurity and gamification – you’ll learn not only the basics of online safety, but also how to use games and non-formal education methods to teach others.
- Practical application – perfect for trainers, teachers, librarians, youth leaders, and anyone interested in spreading this topic further.
- International team – meet young people from Czechia, Turkey, Italy, France, and Azerbaijan. Look forward to expert-led sessions, interactive workshops, and an intercultural evening full of traditions and tastings.
When and where?
- Stage 1: September 10–17, 2025, Czech Republic (Sudislav nad Orlicí – Kubasův mlýn)
- Stage 2: November 22–30, 2025, Azerbaijan (Baku – Royal Hotel)
What will you gain?
- Essentials of cybersecurity and protection against online manipulation.
- Experience with gamification – you’ll learn to create your own games and activities for workshops.
- Connections and friendships with participants from five different countries.
- Opportunities to share and develop your ideas even after the project ends.
Conditions and costs
- Accommodation, meals, and the entire program are fully covered by Erasmus+.
- Travel costs will be reimbursed – after prior agreement and submission of travel documents, up to the set budget (don’t forget to get your travel route approved and keep all your receipts!).
- Participation fee is 50 EUR (1,250 CZK) per stage, payable in cash.
Who are we looking for?
- Active young people aged 18–35 who want to improve their skills in youth work, technology, and education.
- Communicative level of English (all workshops are held in English).
- Willingness to take part in both stages and share your own experience.
