Octogram is a card game (which you can print yourself) with a fictional story from which most of the presented situations can be applied to everyday life. It simulates social media and its algorithms, and also filter bubbles and echo chambers.
After the game the players:
- have a better understanding of algorithm on social media
- are aware how the content displayed to them is being selected by the algorithm
- Are aware of the importance of the dialogue with different minded and opinionated people
- cautiously accept content on social media
- be better at teamwork
